On the justification of violence

“A theory of war or a theory of revolution . . . can only deal with the justication of violence because the justication constitutes its political limitation; if, instead, it arrives at a glorication or justication of violence as such, it is no longer political but antipolitical” (Arendt, 1990: 19).
